Share knowledge with care

MeyshanTube brings together student teaching, patient education and research. These publishing rules apply to videos, channel profiles and discussion.

Teach clearly. Show your sources.

State the intended audience, use accurate titles and thumbnails, and link the evidence behind medical claims. Explain uncertainty, model limitations and the stage of any research. Student work and editorial review must not be presented as verified clinical advice.

Protect people and their work

• Publish only material you created or have permission to share, including music and images.
• Do not upload identifiable patient information, medical records or footage without the necessary rights and consent. Prefer de-identified teaching material.
• Keep personal medical details out of comments. Do not diagnose individual viewers or prescribe treatments in discussion.
• Discuss ideas respectfully. Harassment, impersonation, spam and discriminatory abuse are not allowed.

Review before release

Creators request a channel; the editorial owner approves access. Each submitted video must include sources, a timed transcript and publication-rights and privacy confirmations. Approved videos can publish immediately or at a scheduled time.

Patient education requires an appointed clinician, separate from the creator, to review the claims. A clinical-review label names that reviewer and their recorded credentials. Approval of a channel establishes publishing access; it is not verification of every qualification a creator claims.

Corrections and reports

Use Report beside a video or comment to send a concern to the editorial desk. Include a timestamp and the specific issue. Reviewers can request changes; the editorial owner can remove reported material or suspend a channel. Approved videos return to draft before editing and need another review before publication. Public correction notes explain substantive corrections.

Shorts, categories and downloads

Shorts are videos of up to three minutes. Choose a suggested category or add a clear category name; new categories appear in discovery after their videos are approved. Keep categories accurate and relevant to the teaching.

Creators may permit signed-in learners to download approved uploaded videos for personal study. They must have the rights to distribute those copies. Keep the MeyshanTube mark and creator credit with the video. The mark identifies the platform and creator; it does not certify a medical claim. YouTube embeds are streaming only. Withdrawing a video stops future downloads but cannot recall copies already downloaded.

Your account and media

Browsing is public. Saving, commenting, following and creating use your Meyshan sign-in. Playlists and saved videos are private to your account. Public channel names, approved videos and visible comments can be read by anyone. Creators can withdraw videos and delete drafts and their files; commenters can remove their comments.

Creator studio can add MeyshanTube branding and creator credit to an uploaded file. This prepares a new encoded copy, up to 1280 pixels on its longest original edge, without cropping the picture. Creators may instead supply a copy they have already branded. Reviewers check the visible mark and playback before release. YouTube videos load only after the viewer chooses to connect to YouTube. Playback-request counts are approximate and do not establish learning outcomes.
